Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA)
Ongoing Support Assessments Program is funded by the Department of Education, Employment, Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
Heta is one of a range of National Panel Assessors, contracted by DEEWR to deliver Supported Wage System (SWS) Assessments, Ongoing Support (OSA) Assessments to help to enhance:
employment participation by people with disability;
support services which are provided to people with disability in the workplace;
access to employment by people with disability; and
workplace productivity.
Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA)
An Ongoing Support Assessment will be completed where a Disability Employment Services Provider determines that Participant is likely to need Ongoing Support in the workplace to retain their job and where:
A Participant has reached 52 weeks from Job Placement
A Job in Jeopardy Participant has achieved a 26 week Outcome and requires Ongoing Support
Is has been 52 weeks since the Participants last OSA, or
A change in circumstances means that Participant may need a higher level of Ongoing Support than identified in the Participant’s last OSA.
For those who require Ongoing Support to retain their job three support options will be available:
Flexible Ongoing Support
Moderate Ongoing Support
High Ongoing Support
Heta’s Ongoing Support Assessors will independently assess the Ongoing Support needs of the participant.
