Consumer Consultative Committee

The CCC is a committee for all Job seekers (past & present) who wish to have an active role in Heta's Improvement Process.

Time Table

One Wednesday a month
5:15pm - 6:30pm

This group meets once a month for 10 months of the year.

This is a paid position of $30.00 per meeting ($300.00 a year)

CCC members play an active role in supporting continuous improvement in Job seeker services. They support staff and management by reviewing policy and process and providing feedback in this area which will feed into management decision-making.

Support for CCC members:

The Consumer Consultative Committee Member has support from the Quality Assurance Coordinator to help Heta improve the services it gives people.

Duties:

The CCC Member comes to regular meetings and participates in discussion.
The CCC Member is encouraged to attend the Management Review Committee (MRC) meetings and/or Board meetings from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

To talk about the service that you have had from Heta with the other members of the committee.

Give positive feedback and suggest changes that Heta can make to improve the way that they work with Job seekers

Attend training sessions Heta has for CCC members to get better skills and understanding of the Quality Assurance system.

Check that Heta does the things they say that they do by reviewing the 12 Disability Service Standards every year from a job seeker's point of view.

Help out new members when they join the Committee.

Develop skills in the different roles in meetings (i.e. Chairperson, minute taker, etc)

Read the evaluations that other job seekers send back to Heta and determine where improvements can be made.

Personal Requirements to become a CCC member:

Have been on a Heta program or are currently on a Heta program

Willing to be actively involved with the team (with support if needed)

Would like to build skills in this area.
