  • Learner Drivers Workshop (Getting your Learners Permit)

    Heta's Learner's Driver Theory Training course has been designed to assist people to prepare for their Learners Theory Test.

    This is a course designed to make passing the Learner Driver Theory Test easy and fun. It is specifically tailored to meet the needs of participants who for some reason have had trouble passing the test before or who are finding the Drivers Handbook rules a daunting task to learn.


    Time: 9am - 4pm

    Days: Week One (Wednesday & Thursday), Week Two(Tuesday & Wednesday)

    Duration: Courses are run over 3.5 days with the Theory test on the 4th day, and "homework" is provided to further assist the learning process.


    This hands-on course covers the Driver's Handbook in detail as well as exercises for revision and practice.

  • Unemployed or students - $85.00
  • Employed - $136.00
  • Supported by JSA even if unemployed - $136.00
  • DEN participants - $85.00


  • All fees include the $26 for the Department Theory Test.

    IT Skills Assessment

    IT Skills Assessment is used to determine your level of skills and knowledge in relation to Computer Operations and Microsoft Applications. This assessment takes approximately one hour and will provide you with a detail report of skills, knowledge and recommendations to assist in determining where your skills can be improved and built upon.

    The IT Skills Assessment is monitor/facilitated by an assessor. The participant will go through an interview process and an assessment process on their IT skills. The Heta assessor will them create a summary report which will then be given to the participant and a copy provided to the Case Manager. This assessment looks at Computer Operations and Microsoft Software applications.



     

    Typing Skills Assessment

    Need a Typing Speed and Accuracy Test? Heta Incorporated can provide you with a certificate displaying your result. The test takes approximately one hour.

    Participants are given time to prepare for the test. An assessor will monitor and assess the typing test and then issue out the certificate.
