Return to Work - The creation of a Virtual Small Business

This is an initiative of the Government of South Australia as part of the South Australia Works Program developed with the assistance of North East Development Agency Inc

Heta's new 'Return to Work' program is creative way to find/create employment, and it is FUN.

Time Table

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Duration: 2 x 10 weeks
Location: Adelaide office

This program is based on the principles of business development and will use all aspects of a business model, within a structured and exciting program in a safe training environment. The aim is to create a ‘Virtual Small Business’ and in so doing addressing the needs of unemployed individuals with a disability in the Eastern Region of Adelaide in terms of gaining work skills, confidence and self esteem. It will use both accredited and non accredited training including mentoring and peer support, as well as adult learning principles and group work.

Setting up a Business Model

Communicate in the Workplace

Develop a Business Plan

Work Effectively with Others

Organise and complete Daily Work Activities

Work Effectively in a Business Environment
