Heta Inc currently offers the following qualifications under traineeship arrangements:

  • Certificate II in Hospitality
  • Certificate II and III in Retail
  • Certificate III in Business

  • Participants:

A traineeship allows an individual to work as a paid employee while undertaking a nationally accredited qualification at the same time. This allows participants to study and work with the support of a trainer and their new employer.

Traineeships are a great option for people looking for their first job, changing careers or those that have been out of the workforce for a while and need to update their skills.

To be considered for a traineeship, individuals must:

  • Be signed up to a traineeship within the first 3 months of employment
  • Be employed minimum 15 hours per week
  • Be a permanent employee e.g. receive sick pay and holiday pay
  • Be engaged on a recognised Award or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

  • "Take the first step towards your new career today!"

If you are interested in becoming a trainee, please complete the Participant Funding Assessment and send it back to Heta Incorporated or for more information and to check if you might be eligible for a traineeship, contact the -- Training Coordinator

    Employers:

  • A traineeship provides businesses with the opportunity to employ a new member of staff who will be supported by a qualified trainer delivering a nationally recognised qualification based on industry standards. Employers must be registered to host a traineeship candidate and this can be organised by Heta Inc on your behalf.

  • Training can take place on or off the job at a location of your choosing (your workplace or our training rooms). Training includes learning established theories and best practice while work based projects allow consolidation of the new skills and knowledge. A training schedule will be negotiated with both the employer and the employee.

  • A small financial contribution towards the cost of training is required but this can be absorbed by additional funding provided under the Commonwealth Incentive Scheme for eligible applicants and often has a surplus amount meaning a second employee can undertake training giving employers two nationally accredited employees for the price of one!

  • "Building business capability by investing in people"
